Museum De Lakenhal is located in the monumental ‘Laecken-Halle’ from 1640, where famed Leiden woollen fabrics were inspected and sold. Nowadays, it houses a diverse collection, including works by great masters such as Rembrandt, Lucas van Leyden and Theo van Doesburg. However the museum will be closed until June 2019 for restoration and the construction of a new exhibition wing. Watch our videos and discover what the museum looked like before its restoration.
The mission of MuseumTV is to introduce art and culture to the biggest audience possible. We do this on our joint video on demand platform for Dutch museums. Through our partners we bring the platform to the attention of the Dutch public actively.
